Student Residence Permit in Warsaw

A student residence permit is intended for foreigners studying at a Polish university, post-secondary school, or other educational program who want to legally stay in Poland during their studies.

In this type of application, it is important to confirm not only the fact of studying, but also financial means, insurance, accommodation, tuition payments, and documents from the educational institution.

From April 27, 2026, the standard application process for a temporary residence permit (pobyt czasowy) is carried out electronically via MOS 2.0. Therefore, documents must be prepared in a way that is suitable for electronic submission and further case processing.

We help students verify eligibility, collect documents from the educational institution, prepare the application, and support the case until a decision is issued.

What a Student Residence Permit Provides

  • Legal stay in Poland for the validity period of the permit;
  • Possibility to continue studies at a Polish educational institution;
  • Possibility to leave and return to Poland with a valid residence card and passport;
  • Short-term travel within the Schengen Area under the 90/180 rule;
  • Possibility to combine studies and work — if allowed by your status and situation;
  • Basis for further legalization of stay in Poland;
  • Possibility to switch to another type of permit in the future if your legal basis changes.
